poise and purpose

Two weekends ago was Drexel's Spring Jam! I've been pretty busy lately so this is relatively old news, but exciting news none the less. The day consisted of a pre-concert carnival where various organizations set up tables for their respective activities and the show followed immediately after. The week was full of events leading up to the actual "jam" that were meant to get students excited for Saturday night. There were nights of Spring Jam t-shirt screen printing, Spring Jam musical bingo, dreamcatcher making, etc (MC and I went out to musical bingo on the first night and were thoroughly unimpressed with the DJ and so made the unspoken decision to not attend any more events).

But as for the actual concert, impressive would be an understatement. We showed up a little late and only managed to see LA Riots and Super Mash Brothers, but both lived up to their reputations. The show was outdoors and the weather was cool enough so that all of our bodies packed together didn't create a sauna-like atmosphere. Super Mash Bros ended the show with the perfect college mash-up... a "Call Me Maybe" mash-up.
